Janet, from the very beginning of the process you have been so lovely to be around and that was echoed on the day. You were so calm and professional and made us all look so very lovely. My mum said you were a magician and the photographers commented that you were the best makeup artist that they had ever come across. I can’t thank you enough for your help not only with the makeup but also the other bits that you helped us with on the day and I am sorry if I didn’t express this when you left…the nerves were kicking in a bit at that stage! Sorry it's taken a while but i just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the amazing job you did on my wedding day 9-7-2011.
You did an amazing job with me my bridesmaids and my mum's make up, my now step daughter really enjoyed having her make up done by a professional too. You even carried on when my nan decided to make herself known with the mirror incident! Sorry about the mirror again. I cannot thank you enough either for helping me get into my dress and then having to fix the loop which decided to break just before you were going to do it up.
My husband thought i looked stunning and all our family and friends could not believe how pretty i looked and that was done by the amazing job you did with my make up.
I would recommend you to any body getting married as you help where ever you are needed and really don't mind.

Thank you so much for making me look amazing for my prom even though you weren't feeling great. I had such a good evening and had lots of compliments about my appearance. I would also like to say thank you for helping me with my dress, it beacme very hectic towards the end and without you I probably would have ended up at prom in jeans and a t-shirt! Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day of my Wedding. All of us were so pleased with our make up, you made us all look beautiful, and the make up it lasted until the next day. In fact my false eyelashes were so well stuck on that at 2:30am in the morning when I finally got to my hotel they still didn't want to be removed!

Can I also thank you for sorting out my families button holes, and helping me into my wedding dress. You helped the morning to go very smoothly with as little stress as possible.

I don't really have the right words to be able to express how thrilled we were to have you as a part of our day. You are quite simply AMAZING! I just cant believe how you really went over and above what anyone would expect of a makeup artist and really dont know what we would have done if you werent there.

For anyone considering booking Janet, please let me try and sum up our experience.
* Firstly, she is a fantastic, first rate makeup artist. I was worried, as was my mother, that a makeup artist would 'pack' the makeup on and make us look over made up. This wasnt the case with Janet at all, Janet spent a good long time at our trial making sure we were 100% happy and Im afraid to say I got her to try out a few different looks on me, after which we decided on the first one after all - sorry ;-) Despite all of this she made us feel really relaxed and she made us look amazing, even if I do say so myself, ha ha! The makeup looked really natural and felt as if it wasnt there and it lasted all day - ps, I love the tip for keeping makeup on - I use that all the time and have told all my friends too.
*On the day she was a star and went well over and beyond anyones expectations. We had a few problems with the venue which was stressing me out so Janet said she would take over and sort them all out which she did. She has such a calming influence, its brilliant. On top of that she worked a miracle with a button hole when the bud of the rose fell completely off! Goodness knows how but with some wierd magic (! ha) she managed to fix it back on and it stayed fixed on all day. She also fixed all the mens button holes on as no one knew what they were doing, tied all the mens cravats and also tied me into my dress!

None of these extra things were agreed or discussed in advance but Janet just took the initiative and was so amazingly helpful without expecting anything else in return.

I just feel so lucky to have met you Janet and had you as a part of our day. We had a great time with no further problems with the hotel (!) and really didnt want the day to end.

You are such a calm and kind person and just thanks so much for all youve done. I really cant rate you highly enough (can you tell...ha ha!)

I cant thank you enough for everything you did on our wedding day, Not only are you a fabulous makeup artist who worked wonders, you also laced me into the dress so well that it didnt need tightening at all! You should charge brides as I know bridal shops do!
The bridesmaids loved their makeup and I couldnt believe it was actually me in the mirror!
You really listened to each of us and we're so pleased with the results.
Lending us the lip gloss and tidying away after we left was above and beyond.
You really give such a personal service and I cant recommend you enough. I know you will also make a fantastic wedding planner and wish you all the success in the world.

Just wanted to thank you for making me look so great on my wedding day (17/04/10) and also for all your help and support as well! I loved my make up as it looked so natural and so pretty at the same time - just what I wanted! Sorry I'm late in writing to you, things haven't calmed down enough yet! Our honeymoon was initially delayed by nearly 3 weeks because of the volcanic ash but we got away eventually and it was well worth the wait! Our wedding day was amazing, still can't believe how good the weather was!
Thanks again for all you did and not just with the fantastic make up! You are a calming influence to have around and I really apreciated that you stayed with me until I set off for the church (after helping me get into the horse and carriage!).
